MELCO

Melco Syncrets Inc. was newly founded in April 2016 as a subsidiary of Melco Holdings Inc., which owns Japan's most well-known and largest manufacturer of computer peripherals, “Buffalo Inc.” In February 2014, Buffalo Inc. launched the Audiophile NAS project, introducing the world’s first source component for audiophiles to access, store, and distribute high-resolution (Hi-Res) digital music without the compromises of standard computers and peripherals. Then, in November 2014, the MELCO N1 series debuted in the UK to enter the audio accessory market. Melco Syncrets Inc. became an independent company, inheriting the Melco Audiophile NAS project from Buffalo Inc. in 2016. The first-generation N1Z and N1A series achieved great success, transforming NAS into a true "music library." The MELCO N1 series is therefore both a music storage and server for easy UPnP connection, as well as a USB-DAC source. MELCO N1 series products are internationally recognized by Hi-Fi magazine journalists.
